Iris, this is really quite amazing. How did you do it? Did you use any tech, or just carve it manually? Looks like it’s a flower pot? I really like it.

We had a simple plastic rod armature that we built a paper ball skull upon and then just built the clay around it. When complete, and it did have a top to it, We took the top of the head off and carved out the insides. It can’t be too thick for firing. I preferred not to put the top of the head back on. I hope to glaze it with a nice white glaze as I think green leaves coming out the top of my head would be rather nice! Its the 2nd project in my ceramic’s class.
